SYNOPSIS
The story begins at a New Orleans hospital, in August 2005, an elderly Daisy is lying weakly in a hospital ward accompanied by her son Caroline. Daisy starts a story about someone called Mr. Cake is in charge of making a clock at the train station in New Orleans. After receiving the news of his son's death in the war, he worked day and night making hours, and deliberately designed his time backward, in the hope that time would bring back those who died in the war.
Then Daisy asked Caroline to read from a diary containing photographs and postcards written by Benjamin Button (Brad Pitt). Caroline began reading the story as a transition to Benjamin as the main story point.
One day, on November 11, 1918, people in New Orleans celebrated German fatigue in World War 1. Amid the celebration there was a baby boy born with a physical appearance like an 80-year-old man. The baby's mother died shortly after delivery. His father took the baby and left him in a nursing home. Queeniedan Tizzy The African-American couple living in the elderly, who found the baby. Since Queenie could not conceive, she decided to take the baby and be considered her own son. Then named Benjamin.
Benjamin began to grow physically younger than before, then around 1930, when he was still 70 years old, he met a young girl named Daisy he lived with his grandmother in a nursing home. There he played together and listened to Hikayat's story from Deasy's Grandmother.
A few years later Benjamin worked on a towing vessel at the New Orleans dock with Mike's Captain. In his spare time, captain Mike takes Benjamin to the hotel and the bar. Since the ship's captain did not believe that Benjamin had never been with a woman until that old age, Captain Mike took Benjamin to the localization site. Then for his first time, Benjamin meets with Thomas Button, but he does not show that he's the father of Benjamin. Then, Benjamin leaves New Orleans with the crew for a long haul in the employment agreement. Before leaving New Orleans, Benjamin made an appointment with Daisy to write letters and post photos when Benjamin stopped off somewhere.
Once in Russia, Benjamin met a British woman named Elizabeth Abbott and finally Benjamin fell in love. But unfortunately Elizabeth is married to a British government spy. One day, on December 8, 1941, during the day of Pearl Harbor's attack, Elizabeth disappeared and left Benjamin. Then leave a note behind the hotel door where Benjamin lived and its contents: "It was nice to have met you."
Then Benjamin and Captain Mike and the crew departed for World War II. But tragically the captain of the ship and the other crew were shot and killed by a German submarine in the Atlantic Ocean. Then Benjamin saved by US Marine troops. On the ship, Benjamin saw the oddity that there is a dragon in the middle of the sea that flies to the middle of the ocean that symbolizes the spirit of Mike's ship captain who still lives in the heart of Benjamin. Captain Mike just laughed before dying and said that the shot which hit him just ruined the beauty of his tattoo. That's where Benjamin sees death in a different way than is the case at his home (Nursing Home) where his death is more natural.
In 1945, Benjamin returned to New Orleans and again met the dying Thomas Keys. Thomas finally tells Benjamin that he's his real father and intends to give all of his assets to Benjamin, including the factory's Button house and family. Then Benjamin instantly turned into a rich man.
On the one hand, Daisy became a successful dancer in New York City. Daisy tries to seduce Benjamin but she refuses. When Benjamin travels to New York to meet Daisy's invitation. But fate said otherwise, Daisy has fallen in love with her professional friend. Then, Daisy had an accident during a tour in Paris. Instantly, her ballet dance career stopped completely because her leg was broken. Benjamin received the news from one of his friends and immediately traveled to Paris looking for Daisy. Daisy commented for the first time after seeing Benjamin is "Your Perfect" transformed into a young man, Daisy wants Benjamin out of her life because Daisy does not want to see her current condition by Benjamin. Then Daisy underwent therapy in order to walk again.
In 1962, Benjamin returned to New Orleans and met with Daisy again. They fall in love again because of their position to be the same age. Then Benjamin sold his house which was inherited by Thomas Button and moved into a duplex apartment with Daisy. Daisy started a ballet dance studio for girls. However, a few years later, Benjamin grew younger while Daisy grew older, and by then Daisy gave birth to a baby girl, named Caroline. But Benjamin feels pessimistic and believes he can not be a "father" because he continues to be young and decides to leave Daisy and leave his property and assets for Daisy and Caroline.
While reading this, Caroline realized that her real father was Benjamin. At that moment, Caroline became confused as to why it took so long to tell. But in the end Caroline discovers that Benjamin sends a postcard to Caroline every birthday.
Benjamin gets younger and travels to different countries around the world. In 1980, he returned once more, as he was 25 years old he met again at Daisy dance studio. At that time Daisy had married a widower and by that time Caroline was 12 years old. Daisy introduces her husband with Benjamin and her daughter as an old friend of the family. Daisy then meets Benjamin personally at the hotel and shares their passion for each other. At that moment, Daisy gets very old for Benjamin. But Benjamin continues to grow until young and to stage the process of adolescence. Then Daisy moved into a nursing home where Benjamin grew up. what a surprise if at that time Benjamin like age 8 years. And patiently Daisy took care of Benjamin like her own son.
In 2002, the train hour was closed. Then after that in the spring of 2003, Benjamin who turned into a baby died in Daisy's arms. In 2005, in the hospital room, Caroline wanted to check the latest condition due to Hurricane Katrina's storm, because the story in the diary book has been completed. Caroline left her alone. deasy sees the Hummingbird fly by the window which is the symbol of the spirit after death. And Daisy left the world forever.
